Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who have been tested inside their lives to steer people that went astray and produce them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah which that is sent down to us knowning that which was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which was provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that which has been given to the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad has already been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
