Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested inside their lives to lead people who went astray and bring them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah and that that has been sent into us knowning that that is sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which which has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), and that which has been given on the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad has already been there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
