Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only select the right among mankind who have been tested inside their lives to lead individuals who had gone astray and provide them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah understanding that that has been sent down to us understanding that which was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that that has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), and that that is given towards the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we've got submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad was already there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
