Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who were tested in their lives to guide those who went astray and bring them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah knowning that which was sent right down to us knowning that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which was given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that is given for the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad was already gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
