Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested inside their lives to guide people that choose to go astray and bring them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah and that which has been sent down to us knowning that which was sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which was given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that which has been given towards the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad was already there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
