Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who were tested in their lives to guide those who had gone astray and bring them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah which which was sent right down to us knowning that that is sent into Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which which was presented to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that which has been given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad was already gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
