Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind have been tested in their lives to lead people who had gone astray and provide them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah knowning that which was sent down to us understanding that that has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that which was given on the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad has already been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
