Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested within their lives to steer those who choose to go astray and produce them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah knowning that which has been sent into us and that which was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that that has been presented to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), and that that has been given for the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad is gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
