Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who have been tested in their lives to lead people who had opted astray and bring them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah understanding that which was sent right down to us and that that is sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which was given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that has been given towards the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad was already gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
