Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who were tested of their lives to lead people who went astray and produce them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah and that which has been sent as a result of us understanding that which was sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which which has been provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), and that that is given towards the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad has already been there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
