Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who have been tested within their lives to guide people who choose to go astray and produce them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah knowning that that is sent down to us which which was sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which has been provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that which has been given on the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad was already gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
