Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested in their lives to guide those who went astray and bring them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah which that is sent into us and that that has been sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that that has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which was given to the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad is gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
