The Quran may be the word of Allah(swt) as given directly or by angel Jibril (gabril)(AS) on the last and final seal with the prophets Muhammad (pbuh). Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that which was sent into us understanding that that is sent into Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that which was given towards the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad had been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
