Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who have been tested inside their lives to guide individuals who had opted astray and bring them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that which was sent right down to us which that is sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which which has been given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which was given for the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad had been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
