Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind have been tested inside their lives to steer individuals who went astray and produce them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah and that that has been sent as a result of us knowning that which has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been presented to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that is given on the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad has already been gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
