So the Quran is the recorded word of Allah(swt) from the messenger of Allah(swt) the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and there's just one version in the Quran with not one particular word altered because the revelation towards the present day. The Hadiths are saying and /or actions from the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that had been witness through the companions in the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and after that written down for record. Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who have been tested inside their lives to steer those who had gone astray and bring them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah which that is sent down to us which which has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that is given for the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we've got submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad was already there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
