Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only select the right among mankind have been tested within their lives to lead people that went astray and produce them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that which was sent down to us which which was sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which which was directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that which has been given towards the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad was already there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
