Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only select the right among mankind have been tested of their lives to steer individuals who choose to go astray and provide them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah knowning that which was sent as a result of us which which has been sent into Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that that has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which has been given towards the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad is gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
