Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only select the right among mankind have been tested of their lives to lead people who choose to go astray and convey them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah and that which has been sent right down to us knowning that that is sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which was provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which has been given to the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad is there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
