Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who were tested inside their lives to steer people that had opted astray and provide them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah which that has been sent into us which that is sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that has been given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad had been gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
