Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind have been tested within their lives to steer people that had gone astray and provide them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah understanding that which was sent as a result of us understanding that which has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which was directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that has been given on the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad had been there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
