The Quran is the word of Allah(swt) as given directly or by angel Jibril (gabril)(AS) to the last and final seal of the prophets Muhammad (pbuh). So the Quran could be the recorded word of Allah(swt) directly from the messenger of Allah(swt) the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and there's merely one version with the Quran without just one word altered because the revelation towards the present day. The Hadiths are saying and /or actions from the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which are witness from the companions of the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) after which written down for record. Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind have been tested within their lives to guide those who had gone astray and produce them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah understanding that that is sent as a result of us which that is sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that has been given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad was already there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
