Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested of their lives to guide people who went astray and provide them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah knowning that which was sent into us knowning that which was sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which that has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that which was given towards the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad was already there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
