The Hadiths are saying and /or actions of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that have been witness from the companions of the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and after that written down for record. Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who were tested of their lives to steer individuals who had opted astray and provide them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah and that that is sent as a result of us knowning that which has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which was presented to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), and that which has been given on the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad had been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
