Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who were tested in their lives to guide people that had gone astray and bring them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah understanding that which has been sent down to us and that that has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that that has been provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that that has been given to the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad had been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
