Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested inside their lives to guide individuals who had opted astray and produce them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah and that which has been sent as a result of us understanding that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that that has been given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that has been given for the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've got submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad is gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
