Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who have been tested within their lives to steer people that had gone astray and bring them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that that has been sent into us and that that has been sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which that has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that that has been given on the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad is gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
