Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who were tested of their lives to steer people who went astray and produce them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah understanding that which was sent down to us which that is sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that which was presented to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that has been given on the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad has already been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
