Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind have been tested inside their lives to guide individuals who went astray and produce them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah understanding that which was sent as a result of us and that that is sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that that is provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that which was given to the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad is gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
