islam overview Islam Beliefs and Teachings overview revision sheet by charlotte101 Teaching Resources Tes The True Information on Islam
www.tes.com | To learn about Islam is vital regardless if you are a Muslim you aren't, since 25% or 1.5 billion from the world's human population is Muslim. All the media fascination with Islam using the "war on terror" to get the correct information is vital. Website from non-Muslim sources vary from the outright offensive to the factually incorrect only Islamic websites by Muslims may give the true picture.
The information over these sites must be supported with the Quran and Hadiths. The Quran will be the word of Allah(swt) as given directly or by angel Jibril (gabril)(AS) to the last and final seal of the prophets Muhammad (pbuh). As the verses were revealed the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) would recite them to his companions who'd memorise them as well as write them down and distribute them one of the muslim community. So the Quran will be the recorded word of Allah(swt) from the messenger of Allah(swt) the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) then there is only 1 version of the Quran with not just one word altered since the revelation to the present day. The Hadiths say and /or actions in the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that had been witness by the companions from the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and then written down for record. Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only select the right among mankind who were tested inside their lives to lead people who had gone astray and provide them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah knowning that that has been sent into us and that that is sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which that has been provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that which has been given on the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad is there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
