Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only select the right among mankind have been tested within their lives to guide people who went astray and convey them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah understanding that that is sent right down to us knowning that that has been sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which was provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that is given for the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad has already been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
