Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested inside their lives to steer individuals who went astray and convey them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah which that is sent right down to us and that which has been sent into Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that which was presented to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which was given for the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've got submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad is there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
