Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who have been tested inside their lives to lead people who went astray and produce them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah knowning that that is sent right down to us knowning that that has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that which was directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that is given for the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad has already been gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
