Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who were tested of their lives to lead those who went astray and convey them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah knowning that that is sent into us understanding that which was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which that is provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that which has been given for the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we've got submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad had been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
