The Hadiths assert and /or actions from the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that have been witness with the companions in the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and after that written down for record. Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested inside their lives to steer people who had opted astray and produce them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah which that is sent down to us knowning that that has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which which was given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that has been given to the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad was already gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
