Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who have been tested inside their lives to guide people who choose to go astray and convey them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah which which was sent right down to us and that that has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that that has been given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that has been given on the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad is there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
