Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who have been tested of their lives to lead people who had opted astray and provide them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah which which has been sent as a result of us which which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which that is provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that has been given on the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad was already there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
