Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who were tested inside their lives to guide people who had opted astray and provide them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah which which has been sent as a result of us which which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which was given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that is given on the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad was already there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
