Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind who were tested in their lives to steer people that choose to go astray and convey them towards the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah and that which was sent as a result of us which which was sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that that is provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which was given towards the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad had been there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
