Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind have been tested in their lives to lead those who went astray and convey them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah which which was sent into us understanding that which was sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that which was provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that which was given on the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad had been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
