Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested inside their lives to guide individuals who had gone astray and bring them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah understanding that that is sent down to us and that which was sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which was directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that has been given towards the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad was already there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
