So the Quran may be the recorded word of Allah(swt) completely from the messenger of Allah(swt) the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and there is only one version of the Quran without requiring a single word altered since revelation to the present day. The Hadiths are saying and /or actions of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that have been witness through the companions from the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) then written down for record. Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested inside their lives to guide people that had gone astray and bring them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah understanding that which has been sent down to us and that that is sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which that is provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which has been given on the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad was already there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
