Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who have been tested within their lives to lead individuals who had opted astray and bring them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah and that which has been sent as a result of us knowning that which has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that has been given for the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad is there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
