Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind have been tested of their lives to guide people who had opted astray and produce them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah and that that has been sent down to us knowning that that has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which was given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which was given on the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad has already been there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
