The Hadiths assert and /or actions of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that had been witness through the companions of the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and after that written down for record. Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the best among mankind have been tested in their lives to lead people who had opted astray and convey them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah and that which was sent as a result of us knowning that that has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that that is given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which was given on the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we've got submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad has already been there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
