Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who have been tested of their lives to steer individuals who choose to go astray and bring them on the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah which which has been sent as a result of us which which was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which that has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that that has been given on the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad has already been there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so just the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
