The information during these sites should be backed up by the Quran and Hadiths. The Quran may be the word of Allah(swt) as given directly or by angel Jibril (gabril)(AS) on the last and final seal from the prophets Muhammad (pbuh). As the verses were revealed the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) would recite these to his companions who would memorise them and in addition write them down and distribute them among the muslim community. So the Quran will be the recorded word of Allah(swt) straight from the messenger of Allah(swt) the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) then there is only 1 version in the Quran without requiring a single word altered considering that the revelation to the present day. The Hadiths say and /or actions from the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which were witness through the companions of the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) then written down for record. Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only select the right among mankind have been tested inside their lives to steer people who went astray and provide them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah and that which has been sent as a result of us and that which has been sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that which was directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which has been given to the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad is there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
