Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind have been tested in their lives to steer people who had gone astray and provide them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We rely on Allah which that has been sent into us which that is sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring from the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which was given to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), and that that is given on the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've got submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad had been gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
