Since muslims believe the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who have been tested inside their lives to guide individuals who had gone astray and convey them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah knowning that that is sent into us knowning that that has been sent into Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that that is presented to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that which was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad was already there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
