The Hadiths say and /or actions with the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which were witness through the companions in the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and after that written down for record. Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind have been tested inside their lives to lead people who choose to go astray and convey them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah which which has been sent down to us and that which was sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and also to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that which was directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), understanding that that is given towards the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we now have submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad has already been there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
